This week's performances have shown that some
contestants have the drive to win and others don't.
Naima A. Doesn't have the drive to win. While her
performances have been establishing an identity,
she's also established her weakness – which didn't
bode well for her on a night that others stepped up
and started to compete. From a marketing standpoint,
her weakness may be more of a liability than her
Cinderella story value to the AI.
Paul Mc. I don't think his less-than-best performance
would've hurt Paul as much if the other contestants
who had illnesses hadn't performed so well. Will
his fan base keep him safe?
Thia. She needs to get away from karaoke style singing.
It was good to see her warm up and actually talk to us
during her interview.
James D. Very entertaining. One of the best of the night.
Pia T. Finally she's decided to graduate from singer to
entertainer. We know she can sing. She made the song
her own this week and gave notice she's in it to win it.
Haley R. The verses in the Whitney H. song were
challenging because of the tempo and she delivered.
I agreed with the judges advice. If she follows it and
Naima continues to falter, she should make the top ten.
Karen R. Her outfit got more of my attention than her
performance. Still KS.
Casey A. His strongest asset is that he has us waiting
to see what he has to offer next. It's working for this
competition. But will it work once he's doing originals?
He's having fun and including us – which is one way to
become a successful entertainer.
Scott Mc. Good song choice and performance. He's safe.
Lauren A. Someone must have given her a wake-up call.
Despite having the flu, she delivers one of the best
performances.
Jacob L. He's back and sang it smart.
Stefano He's holding his own. However I disagreed that
the song was a good choice. I enjoy the song story which
was really hurt by the chopping that needed to be done
to meet AI's time constraints. So it wasn't as moving as
it should've been – but not due to any fault with Stefano.

My bottom 3 are Naima, Paul, & Karen. I think Karen's
gone
