Are any of you getting tired of cover artists getting
credit for songs used on AI? Leann Rimes's cover
of the song may be in this century but the original
wasn't. Should Scotty receive a penalty for the
violation?
Scotty once again played it safe – which may not
be a bad strategy at this point because he has enough
voters to keep him safe. But......
James is consistently performing at a higher level
than the rest. He's giving a show almost every time
he performs. His creativity in preparing the show put
him well above the rest – even the judges noticed and
predicted correctly that he would be the best of the
night even though he was the 2nd to sing. That didn't
say much for the rest.
Haley R. Ho-hum. Karaoke with a growl.
Jacob L. Not his best. But JLo's comment about pulling
it together despite one's feeling about a song's message
was appropriate.
Stefano Karaoke with testosterone.
Casey A. Not his best – but clearly 2nd best of the night
to James.
Lauren A. We're hearing more often than not what an
underachiever she is. Is that who should be the next
AI – especially when there's a James who's overcome
a disability to shine brighter than those who supposedly
possess more talent?

Bottom 3? Take any except James and Casey – but Scotty
is safe because of the country voters. Let's put Haley, Stefano,
and Jacob in the bottom three with Haley going home.
