I took some time off posting here for a getaway with my wife
and an audition for X factor(see my X factor thread). However
here are my notes:

Paul Mc. I thought the choice to have sax with a female was
a good one. The version sounded like it belonged on SNL.
I liked it. He had all elements for entertaining in place.
Lauren Good song pick. She easily outdid Miley Cyrus
(no great feat) but some pausing choices weren't to my liking.
Stefano Strong vocal performance. Sang like a winner, dressed
like a loser.
Scotty Bad song choice. George Strait owns it. He sounded like
a good karaoke singer to me. Had some rough spots.
Casey A. Producer took a negative stance on Casey with the shots
that were aired. I didn't think it was his best, but it was artsy.
Haley R. Janis Joplin meets Debbie Harry. I liked this one – though
there was too much growling again at the start.
Jacob L.. Excellent. Whow! Do voters have a short memory though?
James D. I didn't like the song choice. The performance however
was terrific.

So it was bye, bye to Paul although my bottom three were Stefano,
Scotty, and Casey. I thought Stefano was homeward bound.
