Tony, I'm just asking. I even used the word "please", therefore I don't see any connections to the vision of me that you have. But I got your message. Yeah, I understand, you're right.

Take care - Robert

Rob,

The thing I am beginning to understand about Dom is that he is a really sensitive guy, and can't imagine if he posted something that people wouldn't make fun of him. Partially because of things he's said, and partially because, as he's admitted (I think), that overall they're not very good songs ("majority of them I no longer consider.").

I should know because I am as well, only my own sensitivity made me work at my art in order to avoid negativity. And still it comes! Can't please everyone...and at some point, when you've paid some dues, you care far less what anyone else thinks, cuz you know you did the work, put in the time, and that the work may not please everybody, but you can stand by it and withstand a few slings and arrows, and take criticism with an attitude of learning and growing from it.

But I think Dom's sensitivity has kept him from developing as a writer. It certainly has kept him from sharing!

And I imagine it can be so overwhelming that at times, he imagines slights that aren't even there, and is ready at the drop of a hat to pummel anyone who looks at him sideways, and it's rather pathetic that this seems to be his life.

"Hundreds of songs" does sound like a boast, though, and it's understandable that if someone says that, that we would want to hear one...

No doubt I'm "back in the crosshairs again" LOL...

Mike
