You wrote something realistic, credible, tangible and somewhat verifiable, for maybe the first time ever. Quoted above.

For my money, the gist of the quote is correct.
If over-population and the various wastes resulting from over-consumption are going to ultimately choke the planet off...then why is an ever expanding population for the sake of expanding profits (or anything) a paradigm?

All of your prefacing facts and figgers about this and that looks like 2+2 = 37.3
But the gist of your wrap-up puts you and me sharing a viewpoint.
I was so stunned that I set aside my better judgement and said so.
