In my opinion, it makes little sense to contribute to a songwriting site where there are things like the rant section, political arguments, and interpersonal arguments that are allowed to go on and on, eclipsing the songwriting efforts.

So my pledge is contingent on a commitment those things going away and the trolls being told to shut it down.
Yes, I know that I have been a combatant often, but it is the only website where I am. On all other sites that I visit, insults are not allowed to fly at me, and I bother no one.

If my position seems unreasonable, I will ungrudgingly accept things the way that they are, but do not see the point in contributing money to something that is most likely going to flame itself out with off-topic vitriol anyways.

Very sincerely,

Martin

Knock yourself out, Martydom.

$20 a year is all I'm willing to pay to waste time in your company...

I'll say again, "YOU ARE THE POISON KILLING THIS SITE!"
Good luck with it...

If I were a MOD, I would insist upon the authority to "move" threads, or individual posts, to where they belong instead of deleting them. I would be the site organizer, the janitor.

This thread would serve as evidence. It would be the public reference for everyone to plainly see who the bad actors on this site are.
