Well, I just finished reading all the lyrics and hats off to everyone who entered. At the end I had 32 starred lyrics and 176 honorable mentions. Of those 176 I have narrowed that list down to 36 simply because they were memorable enough to deserve a second look. So, I have 68 lyrics to reread...but not today. At a certain point my brain and heart refuse to be moved by anything I read and it simply looks like, "blah, blah, blah" to me. This gives good insight into what music industry folks go through. I also had the song "Hard Times" earmarked and I still remember what it was about. Sorry to see it did not remain in the contest for whatever reason.
