Hello Fellow-Songwriters. Well, I did it. I voted and I am still feeling really bad about the three I did not get to include in my votes. In fact, I was so frazzled getting my 12 picks down to 8,I picked a winner and seven tied. I did the unthinkable cowardly trick of picking the last four out of a hat. No, I did not pick mine for first. I wish I could tell the three writers that lost my raffle how much I liked their lyric. Now, after my votes are in I am still crying over one very special lyric that was, and still is, very memorable to me. It is still in the bottom of my hat with the other two wonderful entries, IMHO. I also had Hard Times in my 12 but, not in the eight, so I guess it would not have gotten my vote, even though I did favor it as one of my first draft picks. I really hope someone else liked the three I had to eliminate enough to choose them. Anyways, People! This has been a rewarding experience for us all and win or lose, just to be associated with such a fine bunch of songwriters is a win/win deal. Thanks to Brian and all those who worked so hard to make this contest free and easy to enter. The judging has been a tough job, but, also, a fine chance to read some excellent writing. I Hereby Give everybody 5 points for entering! Good luck to All. Idamarie
