The AI results this week were a mild shock. Possible explanations for Casey's early departure could be that his votes had been mostly swing voters who were basing their votes on his entertainment value. It is possible that James was able to grab that vote from Casey. Haley's increasing popularity leads me to believe that she may be the last girl standing - although she isn't the most talented or entertaining of the female contestants. She seemed to have a subtle influence on Casey – who started to growl excessively in his more recent performances. Casey just doesn't strike me as the kind of artist who would attract the multiple voting texting type. He was a favorite here at JPF because he was a musician favorite. However we aren't the type to blow our limited resources on votes for an AI contest. Most of us go the one free vote route. I was surprised that Jacob wasn't in the bottom 3. My guess is that if AI would share the voting numbers, they would show a huge disparity between James and the remaining contestants. I think the votes for the four remaining competitors against James were close in number. Haley should continue to wear the short dress for performances though and break out the more modest one for results night as the testosterone vote may keep her in this contest for a few more weeks. At this point, we may be seeing the effect of the country vote splitting Scotty and Lauren.
