As far as I see it politics is just Us V Them. The haves and the have nots. The haves hold onto what they have got, want more and usually get it at the expense of the have nots. The have nots get screwed. Yes voters are half wits. They elect someone into power who is either in the palms of big business or trying to make changes with his hands tied behind his back. Big business and international financiers rule the world and there is nothing we can do about it. Freedom is a myth in reality it is only bestowed on those who have the powers and wealth to afford it.
Tax is a necessity and folks who want to pay less are hiding their heads in the sand.
Any system based on greed, hierarchy, discrimination and inequality is doomed to failure. Unless a proper economy with a fair tax system and fairer distribution of wealth exists the system will fall about our ears.
