Scott, Social Security started in 1935, when my mother was 25 years old. To me, two generations is not a "long haul" I doubt my kids will get it. I doubt it will last until 2035, not with the federal debt at $9 trillion and climbing. Maybe if they did get the social security "safe box" Al wanted it might have had a chance, but he was too busy inventing the internet to get it pushed through, I guess.
