Yes we have lost some of that on the personal side.
I am not sure how all that applies, is it a temporary wartime thing? I don't think we have had any constitutional amendments to our freedoms. Once this war is over(?) things will go back to where they were. We have groups like the ACLU that will see to that.

During WW2 we were locking up Japanese/Americans in interment camps simply because they were Japanese. That will never happen again, lets hope. I wonder why we didn't round up all the Germans.

Our constitution protects us against a lot of things but I know some of it can be suspended during war time. We will have to see how this goes.
Like it or not we are at war.

I kind of like having the Rich in Powerful edumacated people in charge.
It beats having some uneducated weenie poor person running things.
