I agree 100%. That is the main reason that socialism has failed.
However I do not mind paying for good quality services and subsidising people who want to but CANNOT work due to a variety of legit reasons. People who have disabilities or other health probs and the elderly deserve to be looked after properly without having to worry about paying bills they cannot afford. That is my main gripe about the right wing policies of the US and the UK which itself is becoming more right wing on a daily basis.
Obama has been described as a white middle class man with a black skin meaning he has more in common with white middle classes than black people who he has nothing in common with.
