Dear Tricia, Haley sounds like a very responsible young lady from what you've told me. If you explain to her that she'd be writing the "kind" letter in an effort show her Dad that she is indeed willing to be on her own...well, she just might get a surprise. But, it is her choice to communicate or not communicate with her Dad.
