Wow! It's been a while since I've played the club scene. But, the entertainment biz as a whole, is pretty much run by the corporate mentality now too.

It seems that artists are the most mis-understood and most unappreciated people until they are making somebody big money. It's a PR world, my friend. So, I just try to find ways to climb aboard that PR gravy train.

Until then, I keep putting on my "Cher" wig, high heels, false eyelashes and go out and perform like a trained seal so I can pay the bills. But, at least it's better than when I suffered for five hours a night in the bars or lounges. My hat's off to you and to anyone who still goes out into musical trenches for the love of the art.
