I needed some comic relief after having to say goodbye to my Andy today. I've cried so much I'm all stopped up! What did I learn from my loser neighbor? NEVER hire a loser! Like Auntie said, do yer homework. That was a funny remark about the Italian handyman. It reminds me of that movie "The Money Pit" where Tom Hanks and Shelley Long hire the Shirk Brothers to do their handyman stuff on the house. The guys show up with a bunch of bikers and say, "We flipped a coin...WE WORK TODAY!" I don't really have a new rant...just a reflection...why, when you find a true, fine love, are there such huge obstacles to overcome? Why can't he just BE HERE and me just HAVE HIM NOW? We have to go through paperwork, beaurocracy, time, possibly incompetent people processing the paperwork, lots of money. It's no skin off anyone's nose for him to be here. Why all the crap? Meanwhile, I'm going through heartache and severe withdrawel.
