Dear Tricia,
Again, it's always the way of the media to twist things in a negative slant. It's their M.O. because bad news sells.
It is a reflection of our society. If good news sold, then we'd have communication slanted in a more positive direction.
For you to desire the more truthful, positive approach puts you in a welcomed minority! LOL!
But, even though the press had a field day with Vanessa Williams for her past photo shoot, she did fine!
I have a saying that I love to repeat. It goes, "if you drop a glove in the mud, the mud does not get glovey!" Well, the press is like mud and that's just the way it is.
People have to clean off the mud by putting the truth out there somehow. And, the truth will always blow away the lies. Have faith and stay away from the mud!
