I think it depends on how old you are or if you consider yourself an intellectual.
All us young people want is up tempo, catchy hook and melody.
Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Maybe
Best hook in years, catchy melody, great music but verses are a bit weak
and that's okay. We don't want it complicated.
Gavin Degraw - I don't want to be
Memorable hook and melody.. but forgettable verses
