It's the "karaoke-ing" of songwriting. Look at ReverbNation, SoundCloud, SongRamp, and any number of other inappropriately capitalized synthesized words. Now, has it stayed as dominant in popular music? No. Its audience has fragmented and diluted as their friends and families have joined in the game. In a word ItHasChangedAWholeBunch.
