I agree people are writing songs, songwriting is big business.
I think one of the reasons it's big business is because the people offering services cant do anything with their songs themselves, so they can make money teaching others.
It still doesn't address the main point. the average Joe doesnt care about great songwriting. They would rather listen to Bruno MArs than Bob Dylan.
