It is not either or (for me). I like the old stuff and the new stuff. It's all good - er, some of the old is good and some is bad and same goes for the new stuff.
When I started writing songs for Justice I had to immerse myself in the new pop song culture. For three years I listened almost exclusively to current teen pop. And you know what - I really like it.
