We all have opinions, and only an idiot would think his or her arguments will persuade those on the other side of the political coin to "see the light". The one thing you can be sure of is that no one knows what will happen. If they did, they'd be getting rich off lotteries. What we can know, though, is what is happening now.

I don't like what I see happening now. I'm not proud of my country. I'm embarrassed for it. It will be interesting, if four years from now Republicans aren't running the show, to compare the two states of the Union, present and future.
If one recalls the state of the Union under the former, Democratic administration, a comparitively blissful world emerges. Two people sharing a cigar, compared to channeling billions of dollars into military aggression is, well, need I even finish that sentence? I, for one, would like to see a return to sanity, and will vote accordingly.

In anticipation of arguments like, "I'd rather fight 'em over there than fight 'em over here", let me say to those of you who buy into that: the only reason you fear attack is that you, yourself, are willing to attack others. I am not. Many people in the countries we are warring in side with me, and many side with you. But if the majority side with me, the only thing you'll have to fear is your own side.

If you're just going to fan the flame, piss on it!
