Thank goodness for that. I don't listen to much country anymore besides Brad Paisley, but there was WAYYYY too much preaching going on in those songs they played on the radio. It turned me off country, that and the look at how country I am type songs that have enveloped the radio.

Yay me, I watch Nascar & eat my chicken fried after I attend church and play a little pick up game of football in the yard after. I am so country that fish automatically jump into my cooler and begged to be clubbed.

Those songs were literally and still are dominant on country radio.
