Here the tariff dilemma comes in. Denmark, knowing egg prices in the USA, should price them marginally below current prices,because the American consumer seems to be buying at those prices. Ols fashioned capitalism at work Exactly John. You nailed it! He could get cheap eggs from Canada but that is bad for the trade balance. He therefore wants to buy the expensive eggs from Europe and fly them half around the world. I'm not sure that will bring down the price of eggs and what will that do to the trade balance with Europe? We'll see. In the German news I just read that Trump is now doing what Marty doesn't want. America is attacking Jemen. Military strikes with American troops in a far-away land. Here we go again...
