I don't think that the US and Canada are going to throw down. The US has a much bigger concern and it appears that the US is in-process of aligning its forces against that concern.
But if they ever do and the US cuts Canada off from the market buys 3/4 of its exports, Canada would run out of oxygen long before the US.

So, simply approach this fairly

US is not cutting us off....we may cut off oil and natural gas to US though....LOLOL
