From now on "Takeaway #1" is the fact that Trump was elected president for 2024 in spite of this stuff and everything else that the dems threw at him. The voters looked at the totality of it and discarded it.

Regarding the judge and jury...
The award has been set aside by a NY appellate court. It conflicts with the 8th amendment, designed to prevent the govt from drilling people into the ground with fines.
What does that tell you about the overall situation?

IF...
there had been loans that were not re-paid
If un-paid lending institutions were suing for damages
And then, the govt came in with charges...I could see this as legit.
But they did not.
The feds passed on it.
Hostile NY politicians made destroying him their only campaign promise.
James et al pieced together some federal and state laws to make a case
A hostile jury found him guilty
A hostile judge attempted to bury him in fines, and those fines were shut down in NY on appeal.

All loans were paid. No banks complained. No one suffered any economic damages except those under the narrative dreamed up by James.
We both know that no one else on earth would have had these charges brought against them except Trump...by James who swore to "get him" if elected.
