About four or five years ago there was an A-levels grading crisis at, I believe it was Cambridge University in England, where the A-Levels exam was stolen and heavily distributed among students. The University went into an uproar and upon questioning many of the students who had a copy they revealed that they believed there was nothing intrinsically wrong with using the stolen test. The attitude was akin to the notion that a smart businessperson will use any means at all to gain an advantage, and that is just how things work. It prompted a study to explore further just how widely spread this notion had become and the results were rather disheartening.

Anyone who claims that there has not been a shift in attitudes in the past several years is living in a fantasy.
