They may not be doomed but I know the ones in my family are gonna be in real trouble when all us Parents and Grandparents are dead and gone. No one will be around to bail them out any more and they will have to figure out how to survive on their own.
And considering the minimum wage jobs that are available to them I do not think they will do very well.
America will become a third world country.
It is not a morality issue. It is integrity and work ethics

I have had to go to demanding payment in advance in my little studio because the young people think nothing of using my studio and then not paying for the time. The older folks, the first thing they ask when we are done is How much do I owe you and they take out their wallet.
The young people it's Oh! I didn't know I had to pay today. Give me the CD and I will be in to pay you later.
