So I got pulled over by a Black cop.

I rolled down the window and said, “Officer, I know exactly why you pulled me over.”

He said, “You were doing 82 in a 55.”

I said, “Oh, sure. That’s what they all say.”

He just stared at me.

I said, “White people have been targeted long enough. This racism has got to stop.”

He said, “Sir, I’m looking at the radar gun.”

I said, “And now you’re bringing technology into your discrimination.”

He said, “License and registration.”

I said, “There it is. Profiling.”

He looked at me for about five seconds and said, “Sir, I pulled you over because you were speeding.”

I said, “Well, that's your version. Mine's going on Facebook.”

That poor cop probably went home thinking, “I should've become a fireman.”

We’re all built from the same dust and dreams,
Different roads, but the same means.
