Hmmmm...that's an awful "Me-Centered" Prayer there. I'm more a believer in Karma...so I'd be inclined to pray "What can I do to help Someone ELSE today"..& let the "Good Effects" trickle back..whenever they've been earned.
Your point is well-taken. However, please note that this is only an exercise designed to help Someone ELSE test the power of belief.
