My state has a "moment of silence" at the beginning of each school day. I have been present to observe hundreds of these exercises in silliness. They ought to call it a "moment to text message," because that is what is going on.
If any of the the people who supported this fraud thinks that kids are using this time to pray, they are more deluded than Dennis Kucinich.
On a more positive note, these kids are absolutely free to pray in school any time they want to. How many of them actually do it is anyone's guess. My guess is very few, although I have observed a lot of kids saying grace before lunch.
