Now I do not know what it is like in USA but our services are a mess. Always have been.
My point exactly, and the more they try, the worse the mess. When the government assumes responsibility then takes folks' money and it fails, then tries to skip the blame by farming the work out to fat cats, what do you think will happen? I can't force strangers to take care of me. I'm responsible for myself, used to be responsible for my kids but they're grown up. It takes families, churches, non-religious charitable agencies, all who are neither regulated nor supported by the government.
