Oops I just saw John Daubert's idea about putting our viewpoints in a lyrical fashion. Here's mine.

I cannot speak for others,
So I speak for myself,
When I have reached for Jesus,
He wasn't on a shelf.

He made Himself available,
When I would seek in prayer,
He'd answer yes, or no, or wait,
And I could feel Him there.

He's with me every moment,
He loves me ever so,
Though I can't see or touch His face,
His love inside me grows.

He's been with me through sadness,
He's held my hand through pain,
I don't deserve His goodness,
Yet He gives it for no gain.

Though others may ignore Him,
Deny Him and feel hate,
They'll one day have to answer,
When they stand at Heaven's gate.

It's then that they will realize,
He is who He proclaims,
He'll say I never knew you,
For you never called my name.

So take the love of Jesus,
For it's a gift from Him,
He's knocking at your heart's door,
Oh won't you let Him in! smile
