John, I'm sorry to read about the loss of your mother. I pray for you and your family. Jesus felt loss, just as he felt all of our sufferings and temptations. In fact, the shortest verse in the Bible talks about Jesus' loss of his friend Lazarus..."Jesus wept." God understands. We may not, but He does.
