Hmmmm. Strange. A couple of posts seem to have gone missing: one of Everett’s and one of mine. Everett, you had stated earlier that you thought Einstein was a Christian. I replied that he in fact was ethnically a Jew, though well versed in Christianity. Einstein’s own philosophy was allied with that of the highly controversial 17th-century Dutch Jewish philosopher, Baruch Spinoza, who argued strongly - and with considerable scientific insight - against the authenticity of the Hebrew Bible (the Christian Old Testament) and the nature of Divinity.
