For the records I was NOT calling anyone a fool. I was just responding to the statement "anyone who does not believe in God is a fool" Whilst everyone is entitled to BELIEVE in what they like it is not clever to assume that ones belief is fact and that others should blindly follow what some would say is an illogical preposterous man-made dogma based on pure myth and legend. There is no proof that anything mentioned in the Bible actually happened......in fact there is some proof that much of the stories are just that..... only stories...... twisted, exaggerated and mistranslated over the centuries. I find it interesting that you feel compelled to go to so much trouble to disuade those who believe in a Creator from their beliefs, Jim. Atheism is in itself a belief system based on nothing but faith. The atheist cannot disprove the existance of a creator any more than the believer can prove the creator's existance in an empirical sense. You make bombastic statements like "an illogical, preposterous man made dogma based on pure myth and legend." That kind of stance would presume that the atheist had all knowledge as to what exists and how it came to exist in the first place. You also like to make claims that would indicate that science has disproved the existance of a creator. Please humor me with this so called proof. You speak in vague generalities with nothing to back it up other than mere rhetoric. So...Let's for a moment put aside all religions and concentrate only on the existance or non-existance of a creator. I, as a believer cannot prove God's existance to you in a laboratory any more than you can disprove the same. But we can look at the evidence. So what is your evidence for the claims you make? I'll first let you give your evidence or better yet, your proof that there is no creator. Make your case and since you always cite science in completely vague terms, why not show the scientific evidence to start with with some measure of detail.
I'm the only person here who is not unique.
