There is no "proof" for religion. It's a set of beliefs, many people claim they were healed from illness from Jesus, there is no way to "prove" Jesus did it, but they were healed.
Same thing with drugs and alcohol addiction, many claim Jesus saved them. You can not prove He didn't, you can not prove he did.
it;s a personal thing. You can not prove premonitions, you can not prove deju vu, you can not prove "knowing" something was going to happen.
You can not prove patience is a virtue, you can not prove love conquers all.
Yes, even in the same Religions there are conflicts, in Christianity, one dispute over a scripture can cause another subdivision of the Religion.
it's not about sitting there with a magnifying glass and playing detective. It's about experiencing God. Some people do some dont.
But dont mix the two, proof does not play a role in it, never will.
