very few Christians I have heard of are prepared to sell off all their posessions and give to the poor... Well, if you read it, it seems Jesus wasn't talking to a believer. And did you notice the fellow also lied? Jesus included "don't bear false testimony" in His answer to the man and the fellow said "all this I've done since my youth." I don't think there's anyone except Jesus who hasn't told a lie, including this guy talking with Jesus.
