"Evolution has been legitimately proved beyond all doubt...." One question about this theory I have is... If we evolved from the ape, why are there still apes? John  John, hominids - from which homo sapiens later evolved - represent only one branch that diverged from the ancestral line of great apes/chimpanzees. There were/are many branches. It's been an interesting journey.  Donna
