I keep things really simple: Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. That won't be good enough for the God of Christians. But, if I can manage to live by it through thick and thin, it will be good enough for me. Scott Who was it came up with that golden rule thing? Dunno. But it's been around for well over 2012 years - so his name probably doesn't start with a J. Actually Scott, it was by a fellow named Yeshua (with a "Y"), which is the Hebrew name where the Koine Greek name Joshua and later, the Latin Jesus come from. Jesus probably never heard his name pronounced as Jesus as that is the Latin rendering which came out of Rome later on and was passed down from the church at Rome. Yeshua or Joshua was a very common name back then which is why "Jesus" of Nazareth was the distinction given him. This is true but I'm just using it to playfully jerk your chain.lol Matthew 7:12 and Luke 6:31 are the places Jesus (Yeshua) is quoted with it. But granted, there are similar quotes in other religions as well as the Hebrew scriptures or Old Testament. Regardless, it is an ethical way to treat others. Stevie
I'm the only person here who is not unique.
