Thanks to everyone for all the interesting replies.
I've been thinking about this subject for quite awhile. I guess the answer will only surface when I make the transition from life on Earth to wherever??? If ever???
Anyway, this subject has been more intense the last two months while watching my mother die. She finally past away this morning at 7AM. My wife, Sandra and I got to the nursing home just in time to say goodbye.
Death is so strange, yet so natural. I'm relieved that my mom is no longer suffering.
John Sorry to hear about you losing your Mom, John. I'm glad her suffering is over though. I'm glad you made it in time to say goodbye and comfort her in her last moments. Stevie
