well yanno -- the idea of surgery is a Mighty scary thing no matter how big and strong a person is - they may not talk about it - so I understand why you have tried to find answers outside of that....... HowEver --- the quality of Life can change dramatically from the work and They are Much better at this now.........

there's a woman in my office going in for surgery tomorrow - carpal tunnel -- well - of course she IS very anxious..... BUT about 5 years ago she had back surgery --- they fused a few bones in her neck....... within a few months -- she began to emerge as a New person...... she's now back riding and caring for horses Daily -- which she loves --- SHE could hardly walk and was in total pain before the surgery...... that's one story --- there are Many more....... what it came down to was -- the quality of her life was Gone...... she had to take the leap of faith that her life could be better again...... have faith and ask for guidance from your higher power.

I have faith that you are going to be well again VERY SOON. !!
