Sorry, Im gonna comment, but what your talking about is production...that is solved by hiring a singer that sings rock music in the style we are writing....If Sub is going to invest his time, studio, money in creating a master copy, it will be able to be played in a movie, on the radio, etc....If his vocals don't cut it I'm sure he will not use them....but just like I suck at singing the only way for me to get the point across is too sing it....What we are still doing is work tape stuff...so, that said,you did not like the melody line then, not the vocal rendition of the melody line?....which are two seperate beasts....

Derek you're doing the right thing by talking about this, usually that comes first though. We can't read Subs mind so we have to ask. In a routine session we would be in the same room and you would be able clear your thoughts immediately.
